Yes! We only rent quality, teacher approved brands including Yamaha, Eastman, Conn-Selmer, Jupiter, and more!

All you need to begin the rental process is a valid CA ID and a debit or credit card. The first rental payment is due at the time of rental.

Yes, we can ship most instruments for a small fee.

After the initial payment, all payments will be deducted from the credit card on file.

Payments can be made by cash or check prior to your due date, otherwise payments will be charged to the card of file. (All accounts are required to have a credit card on file)

Yes, ACH payments can be processed in store with a voided check.

Yes! A portion of your rental payment can be used towards the purchase of a brand new instrument in the same instrument family. Please contact your local store for details.

We do not offer a rental option for intermediate and professional instruments, but we do offer a variety of financing options, including 0% financing OAC through Synchrony Financial.

Yes, every instrument is repaired, cleaned, and inspected by one of our technicians before it is rented.

There is no exchange fee if you'd like to switch instruments. You would simply pay the difference in the rental rate if the new instrument is more expensive. The new instrument may require the purchase of different accessories.

Our optional theft and damage liability waiver will cover the cost of damage, repair, or replacement if the instrument is stolen. If you decline the theft and damage liability waiver you will be responsible for the cost of the repair or the full replacement value of the instrument.

We offer a starter pack with all of the necessary supplies to begin playing and to maintain the instrument. The starter pack and music stand are recommended by music directors.

We offer a 10% military discount on all accessories and print.

Instruments are to be returned only to a Nick Rail Music location. Your account will be closed upon the return of the instrument.
