We value your satisfaction with your purchase and want to ensure that you have a smooth and hassle-free shopping experience with us. Please review our return policy below for detailed information on how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Defective or Damaged Products: We must be notified within 72 hours of when you received the product. Once we have been notified, we will gladly replace the product for you.  If no replacement is available, items will be eligible for a full refund.  To initiate the return process for a defective or damaged product, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team within 72 hours of receiving your order, providing detailed  information about the issue and, if possible, attaching photographs or video that clearly show the defect or damage.
  2. Our customer service team will assess your request and, if approved, provide you with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Follow the return instructions provided by our customer service team to send the product back to us.

Upon receiving the defective or damaged product and confirming the issue, we will process a replacement order.  If no replacement is available, we will process a full refund to your original payment method.

Other Products: For products that are not defective or damaged but require a return or exchange for any other reason, we must be notified within 3 days of your receiving the product to begin the return process.  We offer a 7 day return or exchange policy. Please note that a 10% restocking fee will be assessed on all non-damaged/defective product being returned or exchanged. To initiate the return or exchange process for non-defective products, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team within 3 days of receiving your order and provide a reason for the return or exchange.
  2. Our customer service team will assess your request and, if approved, provide you with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Follow the return instructions provided by our customer service team to send the product back to us.

Upon receiving the product in its original condition and packaging, we will process a refund or exchange, as per your preference. Please note that the 10% restocking fee will be applied to refunds or exchange credits for non-defective products.

General Return Guidelines:

  1. Products must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition as when you received them.
  2. Please include all original product accessories, manuals, and any other items that came with the product.
  3. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, except for defective or damaged products.
  4. Please clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  5. Sale items are sold AS IS and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. 
  6. Consumables and items that cannot be sanitized, as determined by Nick Rail Music, are not eligible for return or refunds: cork/slide grease, swabs, harmonicas, recorders, opened boxes of reeds, etc. Please contact us for a full list of ineligible items.
  7. Sheet music and music software is not eligible for return or exchange.

Please allow up to 14 business days for the processing of returns and refunds once we receive the product.
